LabTab version 2c rev.3

This file explains how to 
install(1) , freely activate(2), learn (3) unsinstall(4) LabTab 
and make programs for Excel or Open Office with LabTab (5)

1) INSTALL LABTAB
- click on "LabTab installation", "Open" ("Ouvrir") and "Uncompress"("Décompresser") in "c:\temp" to uncompress LabTab2c3EN directory
- execute c:\Temp\LabTab2c3EN\labtab2c.exe by:
	- on non 64 bits windows version: a double click
	- on 64 bits windows version: a right click and "execute as administrator"
- click  "Install"
- "Install.." appears then "Reinstall" appears when LabTab is installed
	- if install reappears on x64bits Windows version, consider re-install as administrator ( see above)
- click  "Exit"

LabTab is now installed in the directory C:\LABTAB\2C of your computer
and its toolbar can be displayed by executing C:\LabTab\2c\LabTab2c.exe 
LabTab API Iox2c.dll can be used by different programming languages 
and is located in C:\windows ou C:\WINNT

2) FREELY ACTIVATE LABTAB
- execute C:\LabTab\2c\LabTab2c.exe
- click sur "Copyright"
- copy the product number with your mouse
- go to url: http://www.labtab.com/2c/2c_FR_Lic.asp
- paste the product number and click "Display license number"
- copy the license number with your mouse
- paste the license number in the "Copyright" window
- click on "License"
- LabTab displays "Licensed" in "Product status" 

LabTab is activated on your computer.


3) LEARN LABTAB
- execute C:\LabTab\2c\LabTab2c.exe
- click on "Help" to learn LabTab

Programming with Excel is suggested to beginners.


4) UNISTALL LABTAB:
- paste the file C:\LabTab\2c\LabTab2c.exe in an empty directory c:\temp\disk1
- execute c:\temp\disk1\Labtab2c.exe
- click "uninstall"

5) USE A LABTAB PROGRAM under VBA Excel or OoBasic Calc from Open Office
- Click on "Excel workbook for LabTab compatible with Open Office" activate macros and open VBA ( Alt + F11)
- Use direct calls to LabTab functions: Iox_Define etc ... as in VBA module "User"
- Create a script program with LabTab functions in a VBA module
- save your workbook under the name "LabTab30.xls if you wish to do so
Then:
- Open Open Office Calc and OoBasic
- Copy the macros of the VBA Iox30 module in an OoBasic module  
- Copy your script from its VBA module to an OoBasic module
- Use your script identically, since all the LabTab fonctions are supported identically

N.B.: Only LabTab functions and scripts are portable between VBA and OoBasic. 
      If your program uses specific functions of VBA or OoBasic you must translate them..
